Car insurance question

Hey guys,

I'm trying to shuffle around some finances and me and my girlfriend are talking about going down to one car. I'm looking at giving her my car and selling hers. Because I work from home now I can do without my car and be a name driver on it once i give it to her.

My question is, about 2 months ago i paid in full 700 pound for my insurance. Is there a way to get any of it back if i want to finish it early?

There's usually a cancellation fee (but apart from that I assume a pro-rata refund) - check your terms and conditions.
