Last week well it will be 2 weeks this Monday coming because i did not attend an interview i had my advisor said they would have to write a letter and send it off to a decision marker.

I spoke to my advisor who i sign on with and they said they had nothing from them and it normally takes around 3-4 days to make a decision.

Does this mean no action will be taken as its almost been 2 weeks now since it was sent off and normally i would have a letter by now if my payments were going to be canceled or job seekers.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Not sure the answer, you'll just have to wait and see, but make sure that you DO still go at your normal signing time. They generally keep it vague about telling you that you still need to go but you will get a sanction for missing a signing.

You will hear from them very soon and will more likely than not, receive 1 weeks sanction. I think it's all part of the governments 'we're all in this together' strategy.

Sanctions have been given for years, it is nothing new (although I would not object to MP's being sanctioned a weeks pay for each session they miss!).
    Gone ... or have I?

Sanctions of 1 week 1st offence, 2 weeks 2nd offence etc. etc. have NOT been out for years.

Sanctions (which you referred to earlier) have been around for years. The amendments which you refer to in your second post were brought in in April by the previous govt.

I have no political stance to make. I don't care which government brought it in.

You're knowledge of benefits is to be admired but please don't try to judge me.

    Thanks
