Help, UK listed item shipping from US

I have bought a graphics tablet listed as new with a location of Great Britain, United Kingdom. I have received tracking details for USPS and am now concerned that the item will have no UK warranty and I will be liable for duty and VAT. Is there any thing I can do?

I have now received a letter from UK customs asking for a copy of the purchase invoice for the tablet. I asume they will calculate duty and VAT on the purchase price.

No you can't reclaim these from the seller.
Is there anywhere in the listing that it states the item will be shipped from the US?
I would refuse the package and it will be returned to sender.

If it didn't state that it was going to be drop shipped from USA, then contact the seller immediately, and point out that they're as they're a UK seller, you were surprised to find that it was coming from the USA (as it didn't say so on the listing), so could they let you know how they'd like to pay the VAT/customs charges.
Personally I'd refuse the package if they don't offer to pay the charge, then leave a neg or neutral to warn others.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
