Highview Parking Fine - Advice please

Got a letter through the post about this and got £50 fine for parking over 3 hours in a private car park in the station - Anyway went out tonight and came back and found out that OH had kindly paid it.
Heard it is not enforceable, but as he has paid is there much I can do in the way of getting the money back?
I think not but worth asking, any advice would be appreciated thanks
