I seem to be stuck in a What comes first chicken or egg situation
Trying to decide wall paint colours but then am concerned that they may not suit the wood floor - but then am not able to choose the colour of wood without the wall colours?!?!
Would be interested to hear how you picked

I would always choose the floor colour first as paint come in many more colours than flooring and can be mixed to match anything. Also, you need to be make sure you are happy with your floor colour as it is much more difficult to change.0

There's far more paint colours available than flooring colours so pick a floor you like and then find a wall colour that you like and which also goes with the floor

I'd get floor samples and then pick the card paint sample thingies from a diy store, take everything home and see what it looks like in the actual room as the light will be very different from what's in store. Then select a few colours that go with the floor and buy sample pots, paint onto A3 sheets to have a better idea of what it'll actually look like and decide. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
When I renovated my lounge it was the curtains that dictated the rest of the colour scheme, in the bathroom it was towels!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

Floor deffo - you'll probably have it down for 3 or 4 'room decorations'. (Well - we always have anyhow!)
