Love how Hamish merely rubs everything off as "tiny" or "minimal".
Even gas and petrol are merely a small percentage of most peoples spending to him....one of the biggest costs next to mortgage / rent and it's just "minimal".
Only thing not seemingly called minimal, is the actual minimal pay rises people are getting....these are described as above inflation, but over the last few years. Time for the :rotfl:

I'm with you on this one, PN.PasturesNew wrote: »I actually dislike Xmas... it's not Xmas itself, it's the company one's forced to keep .....
I do wish I was an orphan sometimes.
I can celebrate at any time of yr, given reason. I just have a problem being told to celebrate.
I always keep the damned thing low-key. decent food/drink and a few gifts. sorted.0 -

Debt junkies only think about the next payment.
It's only £2 a month extra....... It's only £5 a month extra... it's only £10 a month extra............. and so on.
.. and so on.
As long as you can afford the next payment, everything's OK"The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

He must be a millionaire. How envious I am. Wonder if they're thick on the ground in Aberdeen. I surely must be in the wrong part of the world.

He's quite well off is our Hamish, supposedly.
You'll have to ask him later, when he's returned from queuing outside his local fish and chip shop which he refers to as Yo Sushi.0 -

I'm trying to imagine him saying that in an Aberdeen dialect.

Thats what xmas means to me, a couple of special meals with the family, treats you roll out once a year, a time to indulge and a few gifts for a few special people.0 -

I'd have a few beers with Hamish, in fact I reckon he'd be a p!sser after a few ales.Have owned outright since Sept 2009, however I'm of the firm belief that high prices are a cancer on society, they have sucked money out of the economy, handing it to banks who've squandered it.0 -

I'd have a few beers with you all. Can just imagine who would be sitting in the quiet corner too
Would love rewired to come, and sit there all night not saying a word, just nodding occasionally at opportune moments.0
