VAT increase and hotel question

in Overseas holidays & travel planning
I have booked flights for next spring and summer. Will the VAT increase in January mean I am better off booking my hotels before then?

    Booking and paying before January might make a difference, but hotel prices tend to move more according to supply and demand. If the latter drops, room prices will likely fall despite the increase in VAT.

    I haven't looked too much yet, one will be on the Spanish mainland and two on Mallorca. Have no problem in paying in advance.

    If they are in Spain the price will change with any alterations in Spanish VAT rates won't it?

    What even if I buy them through a UK based site like TR or Lowcost?
