bt home hub

here's one for you techies out there, can I use a bt home hub wireless router even though I am not a bt broadband customer. I am currrrently with AOL and want to go wireless.

    As you stated it is a wireless router, so it should work with any ISP. I will look into it for you :)

  • Thanks for your replies, aol only give that package to new customers apparently, didnt want to leave but looks like im going to have to, cos I will not pay for one when others are offering them for free.

  • not yet just by email and they said they could not offer it, even tho I have been a customer for nearly 4 years.
    Really thinkin bout cancelling now

    I have been with suapanet broadband for 12 months and they offered me the following to stay with them for 12 months longer as I cannot be bothered changing providers at the moment

    8mb broadband
    wireless router (£40)
    anit-virus and firewall (£30)
    £50 voucher off a LCD or plasma TV

    Not bad for nowt, just waiting to receive the goods in the post
    I recently purchased a wireless router so I will just keep the new one as a spare
