Ok so what can happen?
Can you go to jail?
No it's not me but someone I know claiming if they move back to Holland they will do time for 2 years, if that was the case surely he wouldn't have been able to leave the country in the first place!

No idea about Dutch legislation but what on Earth has he done??
I know that driving off while a PCN is being attached is naughty. Driving off with the CEO (traffic warden) themself still attached to the windscreen, later to fall off and get 'merged' with the red lines on priority routes is something the Courts would take a dim view of - possibly up to 30mins Community Service nowdays!
My local Council are currently debating a new measure to counter an increasing workload from appeals encouraged by internet forums.
If you proceed to a formal appeal, not only do you risk the full penalty amount but they propose to advise appellants that they 'MAY' contract Bubonic Plague as a result.0
