Do you have a deferred place for university? If so, you can get a regular ISIC card, which as far as I know everywhere accepts as a student card (and can also be used abroad). It costs £7 but is valid until Dec 2007 so I got that back quickly just from topshop and going to the cinema. If you dont have a deferred place I'm fairly sure you wont be able to get a student card and will just have to live with the extra 10%!0
