A few weeks ago I applied through ticketmaster for disabled access seating in Wembley for Take That tickets. I had to fill in an online form and I got a message on my screen saying I would be contacted normally within 48 hours to let me know if there were tickets. I never heard a thing.

Then this morning I got this email :

Take That - Wembley Stadium, London tmlogo_rgb.gif Dear Ticketmaster customer,

Thank you for your request for an accessible ticket for Take That at Wembley Stadium.

We can confirm that we have reserved an allocation of accessible tickets and we will be in contact with you as soon as possible to discuss your requirements. However, due to the high demand for the Take That tour it will take a little time to process all the requests.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Kind regards,
Ticketmaster Customer Service Department

But what I am worried about is that it might be spam and if they call me and pay money over how will I know if I'm getting genuine tickets. I tried replying to the email but it got bounced back, although it does say in the email not to reply to it. I've tried doing a google search for ab.mm.ticketmaster.com and it just comes up with stuff I don't understand. I don't know what to do. I'm over the moon to think I may be able to go to the concert but would be mortified if I paid out £££'s and gave out my c/c details and it ended up as a fraudster.

So I thought someone on here may be very knowledgeable re how to search to see if this email was genuine. Thank you for your kind help.
:p

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi

Sorry I'm not a techie person and was over looking for advice on something so cant answer your question, but what I would say is when they call you ask for a reference you can quote, and then call back the ticketmaster number yourself. That way you know you are definitley thourgh to them before you give any payment details.

If it was a scam I would have thought the email you have received would have been asking for payment there and then?

Scammers don't normally like to waste time as they are more likely to get caught unless it is for large amounts of money ie. batch of tickets.

Do the headers on the email give you any more clues?

OK now I've had a message left on my answer phone asking me to call them back on an 0844 number to discuss my access requirements so I'm thinking possibly it's genuine, oh god let's hope so I'm excited want to go
