Can anyone recommend a FREE monitor program to keep track of my broadband usage.

I understand that NetMeter is only a 30 day trial and then you have to pay.

I used to use NetMeter, but found it occasionally managed to lose all the stored data. I've used NetWorx now for many months, and find it more reliable. It has the very useful option of being able to restrict its data collection to the WAN broadband connection, ignoring any data from your local LAN (other computers), if you have one.

I second Networx. Worked fine and was reliable when I used it unlike NetMeter which constantly lost the data.

Have you checked if your provider does this, usually on your account. I know zen and Plusnet do.

Oh yes my provider does do it, that`s why I want my own measure because at the moment TalkTalk`s usage meter is running haywire and inventing usage to get you to pay more for extra download capacity.

We are allowed 40gb a month but their meter is completely unreliable and inaccurate.

I`ve just installed Networx so thanks to everyone for their input. :T
