My sister friend have about £80 to spend on a computer. So I have been watching a few on ebay and looking elsewhere.

I found this one and can be delivered as well.

I will be able to do work myself on it , like put ubuntu linux on it. Install a new DVD writer as well, etc?

I did find out that mobo manufactory Elite L4S5M (actaully ECS)

is the same one that badge up pc-chips boards and I have had bad experience with a pcchip mobo in my old computer.

anyone know of shop in west midlands area that sells 2nd computers. Around this sort of spec AMD/P4 2Ghz. Does not need an OS on HDD. No CDROM needed(will be putting a new DVD Writer in). Will need Memory 256MEG or more.
Around the £60-£70 mark. I will be able to find a 17" monitor from freecycle hopefully , or she can have my spare one and I will need to get another 1 for backup from 3cycle or carboot.
