Radiator stays cold.......

Hi,
We live in a newish house (5 years old) and have GCH. The radiator in the living room won't get hot. It has worked up until this year. I have bled all radiators and all the others are fine, just not this one.....
Any ideas? ( I am a DIY novice so be gentle!!)

Have you checked if the valve is turned low or off?0

Make sure the valves on the cold radiator are fully open then close the valve on the ones that are warm.
If the cold one warms up, it is a matter of balancing the system.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

Sorry if I am being thick, but do you mean the temp control dial on radiator? If so, it is on max, but no joy.Not as silly as I was thanks to MSE:)0 -

try turning it on and off a couple of times to see whether its maybe just stuck. then put it on full and turn off the others.0

Remove the thermostatic valve head and check if the pin is stuck down in the valve body.
You should be able to push it down, then it pops back up by itself.
If it doesn't, firmly, but gently tap the pin with a small hammer to release it.0
