Setting up website emails?

Hi all,
I have a website and plenty of email space for it whereby I can put any name @mysite.co.uk
To view my email I need to log in to the cpanel, and then I can view it in horde online, so setting up myname @ mysite.co.uk has not being too much of a problem (besides having to go through the cpanel, and horde is slow and not the best email viewer i've used).
However I'd like to be able to set up email accounts @mysite.co.uk for other website members (it is a forum, so i'd like to give email accounts to the other admins/mods). How would i go about doing this?
And also, is there an easier way to view my mails at the site, instead of going through horde online? I understand the task might be a bit complex for a newbie to website design but I'm willing to do what it takes to sort it out!
Thanks.

Yes, how many POP3 mailboxes does your website package have? If multiple mailboxes, you can set up a separate a mailbox for each email address with their own username and password.
Also, set up Outlook Express or other email application. This downloads emails to your PC so you don't have to go to webmail to view them.0 -
I did this with one of my original websites. I used a third party company called everyone.net. It is a paying service (or used to be at least) but it served it's purpose well.
Other ways to view your email online are:- forward your email to a gmail account & use that (this is what I do, it's great)
- use a website such as https://www.mail2web.com
- ask your hoster if you can use a third party mail reader on your site, some do let you!
Hope that helps.0 -
Doesn't answer your question but this may be useful to you or someone reading the thread.
If your email address is displayed on your website then sooner or later the spammers will pick it up and use it as a forged address. You and others will start getting spam using your domain name (e.g. xytgr@yourdomain.co.uk). If others get email with your address forged as the sender they may bounce it back thinking its going back to the sender but it will go back to you. I know to my cost. There are a couple of ways to help get around this.
1. Cloak your email address on the website so that it becomes unreadable to the spammer software harvesting email addresses
Here's a site where you can download a small program to code your email address:
http://email.about.com/od/windowsaddressencoding/gr/web_email_cloak.htm
You then have to paste the coded address into the html of your webpage in place of your email address. It's a little tricky and it took me a while to get the hang of it.
2. Use a Contact form instead of displaying your email address on the webpage. Haven't tried this but here's a site where you can get a contact form script.

I just mention this because spam seems to be getting worse over the past few months and it may just help to stop your address getting into the wrong hands. HTH0
