Quality cable to run Sky/Virgin to other rooms

Am i right in thinking Virgin and Sky use normal co-axial cable to run extra set top boxes to more rooms in the house? If so, is it all pretty much the same, or is there 'higher quality' cable?

I will be needing maybe 100m to run cables through myself neatly (rather than drill it and leave it engineers), wheres best to buy some from?

Thanks in advance

Sky use satellite grade co-ax, depending on the application you might want to get shotgun (twin ) cable for Sky+ boxes, don't forget to buy the F-connectors and barrels to couple up to your existing cables.

    Satcure have a decent range.

    thanks for that

Is it ok to run satellite co-ax outside the house, up the wall? Wasnt sure if blazing sun (ok, being optimistic here), or the 8 months a year we have f-f-f-f-freeezing weather would effect it in anyway? or cause the signal to crack up?

    Thanks again

You should get cable that is twin-screened by both foil and a wire braid ,copper better than aluminium, and try to keep the runs as short as possible.

See - http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/accs/page8.htm just for info.
