    one thing with fimo, which is totally personal. but i found it better to add the hole prior to baking. some deisgns say do it after, but i hated using a mini dremial to make the hole. so much easier before hand. but as i say it is totally personal preferance. but many a time i made a great bead or pendant and forgot to add the hole and as it was delicate it got damaged when trying to make the hole.

    i always add the hole before baking otherwise you tend to run the risk of ruining the piece after all the effort

    I have found a step by step tutorial with pattern (pdf) on making fabric Wrist Cuffs here

    I haven't made one yet but here is a pic of one made by somone else on a different blog:
