electronic drum kit question

Is it possible to get an electronic drum kit ie no noise (flat dwellers) and stream your own music to the headphones too, so that you can drum along to music? How would I arrange this please? Am thinking it could combine OH's love of music with some exercise/stress release at home. He tried one out at Grand Designs and loved it, but it was just headphones listening to his own drumming, which gets boring.
thanks for any advice.

I'd expect most should have something along the lines of an auxiliary input which you could connect up your mp3 player, hi-fi etc too.0
