the car park is a private company car park owned by a local company(it says member of the BPA on the ticket though)

basically i went over by 5 minutes although they have written 10 i had a quick look around but couldnt see the warden so took off the sticker and drove off.

the fine is £65 if paid within 7 days after which it goes up to £90!

can they actually get debt collecters round or are they all talk?
  • All talk, and if they ever did just tell them to ""go away"" in whatever colouful language you choose.

    :)

And he wasn't a "Warden", just a minimum wage goon in a hi vis jacket that makes him feel important.

I was wearing a hi vis today in a tesco car park, was thinking about giving tickets out asking people to pay money into my paypal account, thought £60 a time would be nice, just in time for christmas ;)

But then I was wearing it for the job I do, but i'm to ethical to try and scam people out of money, though did think that the guy who just got out of his car on crutches without displaying a blue badge was out of order, I almost scammed him, so instead just told him if he gets a ticket to ignore it, he then showed me his pepipoo sticker ;)

    God bless the internet :)

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Don't be fooled into thinking that the BPA is some sort of official regulatory authority, such as OFCOM or OFGEM. They are not. They are just a cosy trade association for the parking "industry", who don't give a damn about the motorist.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Ignore is correct you might get some threatening letters, if you do just come back for more assurance. Any contact just makes them think they have a bite:)
