hi i am new to this website just wondering if anybody can help me. me and my partner are in the process of buying a house the evaluation has come back we need to have cavity wall ties done before we can have the mortgage how much does this normally cost? also we have to have this done before we can have the mortgage and we don't even know how much the house has been valued at, is this right?

I would call a few builders to get quotes (at least 3)
There should be guide prices available on this job.

There are specialist Wall Tie replacement companies these days, ask your surveyor if he knows of any in your area.0
