    Nectarines make a good crumble, just slice around the circumference and take out the stone then chop into largish chunks and cover with a regular crumble mix.

    You could feed them to the birds, not exactly OS but Im sure they will apprieciate it :D
  • You could add them to muffins or smoothies ;)

    As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the exisitng thread to keep ideas together :D

    Hello :)
    I have three sorry looking nectarines in the fruit bowl and really need to do something with them, I was thinking of some sort of muffin with them in but not sure whether it would taste any good. I have cake making stuff in, so am asking nicely if anyone has any recipes for cakes with nectarines in them.
    Alternatively do you think I can just use a normal cupcake recipe and chuck them in?? Would they affect cooking times???

    This is for raspberry and nectarine muffins, but presumably you could substitute the raspberries with more nectarine?

    Am open to any other suggestions as I wont be making them til later :)
