Warning, WATCHTOO replica watches review

OK, I was stupid to even think about buying a replica watch but I will post my experiences here in the hope of warning any users of this site or anybody who googles the name, Watchtoo replica watches.

When the watch arrived in looked good, but it didn't work. Their website promises to replace any such item but instead all they did was engage in an e-mail filibuster, eventually telling me to get the watch mended locally and when I ordered from them again they would send me not only what I ordered but replace the broken one.

I no longer have any trust in them and I doubt very much that a replacement would ever appear.

I failed to notice that there was no return address given on their website so I cannot raise a disputed payment with my credit card company because I cannot provide proof of having returned the watch.

Needless to say Watchtoo have ignored many requests asking for such an address.

Watchtoo it's not the only trading name of this company. Should you ever think of ordering such a watch look at the Watchtoo web site and compare it to any sites that you are thinking of ordering from, if it is identical in layout and appearance and if it differs only by having a different trading name then very likely it is the same company that I have such bad experience of.

I hope this will stop somebody making the same foolish mistake that I made.

That name doesn't bring up any sites when I google it. What is the web address of them ? You can sometimes find out addresses using WHOIS - if you post it then we might be able to help.

I can't find a website either but by replica do you mean counterfeit/fake? If that is the case, they are unlikely to be giving out any form of business address as they probably don't want the copyright or IPR owners knocking on/down their door.

So you bought a cheap replica (fake) watch, probably to look trendy and show off (forgive me if that's wrong) because it will be a copy of a well known expensive brand and it doesn't work?
You got what you paid for -a piece of (Chinese:p) junk.
You've learned the hard way and will maybe not be tempted to buy a fake of anything again.
I AM sorry you've been "done over" and hopefully others will take heed of your error. Top marks too for posting the warning on MSE.

Is it this site? If so it's a US site so I'm afraid there is little chance of getting your money back. Thanks for posting the warning though.

    Yes that's the site

Why do you say it's in USA...everything points to China ??

Why are you so sure I won't get my money back, you have experience ?

Have you any plans to try to get your money back?
  • If the company was based in the UK or Europe and you unknowingly purchased a counterfeit item then you would have a good case for legal action.

As it stands, you have knowingly paid for an illegal item from a trader based in China, so I certainly wouldn't expect too much help from your credit card issuer.

Also, when the watch was originally sent to you, it could not have been declared correctly for customs, and you as the importer are the one who is responsible for this, so all in all, I think you have managed to get off lightly by only losing the money that you paid out.

Sorry OP - it looks like China. I was mistaken, I just had a quick look and saw the dollar prices. I am afraid you will have to put this down to experience as I do not see how you can retrieve your money. We have all been fooled at one time or another so don't feel too bad about it.
