Personally, I'm going for fingertip because I'm clumsy and it's one less thing to trip over. I'm terrified I'm going to go bouncing down the aisle on my bottom.:D
Codemonkey, I was thinking exactly the same thing, I am terrified of doing something like that! :D

I went with a shorter one but that is because I have detail on my dress, my mum wore a cathedral length and it went really well with her dress which was plain, it is edged in lace. Could you take a pic of yourself in the dress then head to a veil shop, if you at least get to compare them you may feel better about choosing

Do you have any friends who are married who may have veils that you can try on to get an idea of length?

I saw a beautiful spanish veil on ebay a couple of days ago. I think it's gone now as I can't find it. I really wanted it but it was all wrong for my dress.

Cathedral veils are totally gorgeous with simple dresses though.

I love your dress! I agree that the catherdral veils look stunning but I am swaying towards a fingertip length for your particular dress.
