It might be just my cynical nature but I feel that this may generate some text spam.They seem a bit shy on revealing their privacy policy.

I suspect you're right about the spam

it was an ad in the Sun - the Scottish Power one will probably generate calls just the same as all the other Scottish Power ones on here.
I noticed that there was one from the same company posted here a while back to win an ipad so thought it might be ok to post.

Seems more like an ad than an actual 'Sun' comp. No doubt anyone entering will be harassed by telephone.

There is only one submit button on the page so it all seems to be, pretty much, the same comp, I suspect you will hear from Scottish Power even if you don't complete that part of the form.:mad:

I have to agree. As soon as I saw the words Scottish Power, the shutters came down! They did pester me continually a while back, one caller said that to enter me into the next stage of 'the competition', they required a 'few more details'! I politely told them to take me off their calling list. It didn't happen. They rang every day at various times and from various numbers. Thankfully they only have my mobile number and they have now been blocked. I do realise we take a wee bit of a chance going in for comps and do expect the odd call, etc to filter thru from some quarters, not all. However, these people are far too persistant for my liking. The only thing I can say in their favour is that I have never had any rudeness. I don't know how anyone else has fared? Still thankful that I have blocked them tho. Thank you anyway op for posting, maybe you weren't to know. xx
