Phoenix Bios update

Hi can anybody help me update the bios "Phoenix 6.00 02/10/2003"

I am completely lost.
Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away

    If your completely lost i would say stop and dont go any further, Once the damage is done its done and cant be reverted.

    The Bios is different for each mother board make/version and not interchangeable, if your computer works then there is no need to update the bios, do not fix it if it ain't broke!

    As it appears you have minimal/no knowledge of how, what and why you want to do it, do not come back here and say, I have bricked my computer, what can I do, that answer would be .............get a new computer.

    You only Update a BIOS for a specific reason eg new hardware etc otherwise leave it alone .

    BIOS updates aren't the nail-biting agony of suspense and horror which they used to be ten years ago, because now it's almost entirely automated from within Windows, just requiring a reboot to load the new one. I've updated dozens of BIOSes without once encountering a single problem.

    That said, the comments of previous posters could be good advice. What is the make and model of PC for which you wish to update the BIOS? For what reason do you think it needs to be updated? For most PCs the BIOS they came with is perfectly adequate for their lifetime. There is usually no good reason to update unless the newer BIOS fixes a specific problem which your PC is exhibiting...
