green / white / black wires

Hi im going to put a 3 pin male kettle plug onto a transformer for an electric bike battery , but the wires ex transformer are white / black and green - anyone know how this translates into brown , blue ,black please

on the 240v input side, the transformer needs a female kettle plug.
or are talking about the 12v output side?
testing with a multimeter will determine the output wires/values.Get some gorm.0 -
If you've got an electric bike, do you ever use the 'pedelec' site.

American AC colours (or should I say colors) are:
Black - live
White - neutral
Green - earth
so it's most likely it was built for the US market.
You mention transformer - is this US to UK or 'mains' to 'battery'? Do you have the correct input voltage?
I'm not quite sure what you're trying to achieve so I hesitate to comment further..0 -
yes sorry it is an ac adaptor with a female kettle plug which the electric bikes male kettle plug , plugs into and coming out is a lead with the 3 wires black , green and whiteAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

if the transformer you have is built for the american market it may well be set up for 110v input AC. Beware putting UK 230v AC into this.0
