Just so you are aware....
I went on holiday to CPO in Jan 2009. My inlaws have stayed there quite a few times and they do love it.
However, it's a timeshare and they WILL try and sell you "holiday ownership". We went on a thing where they got us lunch and then showed us round but it went on way too long. As it turned out, they weren't too pushy and we just left. However, they rang our accommodation several times to see if we'd like to go on a tour, and although they were polite and pleasant, it was getting a tad annoying.
That said, if you can cope with that, you're on a winner. CPO was being done up when we went, and Oura Praia looked really nice too. (although only a short distance from the Strip, akin to a Portuguese Golden Mile.
