How to Download or Convert You Tube Video to View on Laptop?

Hi,

I would like to download some dance instructional videos from You Tube onto my laptop so I can take them to the dance studio where we practice. As there isn't any internet connection there this would be the only way we could view/review the clips as we dance.

I can't see a download 'button' on you tube but am I missing something? Is there a way of doing this? An example of the video is in the following link.

you can use Real Player to do this, sorry can't post a link just do a search for it.

The free version will do the job

If you have Firefox browser there's an addon called 'DownloadHelper' for downloading YouTube videos.

Thanks, I use Chrome but can always download firefox again if need be.

There are several Firefox Add-On Extensions. for which you can Google using a search like "Firefox extension YouTube download" or similar.

For no obvious reason I chose MP4 YouTube Downloader, although you might want the download as an FLV file (and thus have to hunt further)...

No need to faff around with extensions...just add 'kiss' in front of youtube and download the file in your chosen format.

I use https://www.zamzar.com to convert files. You put in the url of the video you want (copy and paste from youtube), select which file format you want it converted to, and a few minutes later zamzar sends you an email with a link to download to your computer.
