Citibank card question

Hi All

I have applied for a current account with citibank (Without an overdraft) I recieved loads of information from them with a copy of the application form to sign and request for a bank statement and check for a quid so I assume everything is ok, my question is there is no information on what type of card you get with the information from them.

Anyone who has an account with them know what card you get (As I have a visa electron now which is pants) and was looking for a switch (or what ever it is called now)

Does the account come with this.

Also one more question :) if I applied for the account and did not request the overdraft did they credit check me or will they do that when I send my application in the reason I ask is I have a password on my credit file (Due to some past problems) and there has been no mention of this.

Thanks guys

You will get a Visa Debit card with the sterling account. I have just received mine !!

Not sure about the credit checking though !!
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

I have just opened my citibank account, it came with a visa debit card. They have a varity of different options that you could get.

They have a basic cash card account, visa debit card and a visa debit card with cheque guarantee.

I just got the visa debit card, I noticed on my credit report that they did search it but I have been discharged from bankruptcy for two years, so unless you are still bankrupt you should get the account.

The account was opened within one week.
