Making a post a sticky with valid reasons

Options
I'll ask here as the post is being ignored where it is.
Benefits and tax credits board has a post by me called cold weather payments.

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2835188

a few times now we have asked for this to become a sticky, because it is that time of the year that those that need the information will be making several posts about it, when if they go to that board and see cold weather payments, they will get the answer they need.

464 people have viewed it, i am sure board mods have too...

please can this very useful post be made a sticky and not lost in the pages. If not can someone explain why it can not be done.

many thanks

I have been looking when i have been on line, but this morning thought this might be a place to post too.

May i ask that you don't speak to me like i am a child, i was being polite, and just asking a question.

If my post has come across as offensive or rude to you, then i am sorry, i have a brain disorder, and can't always write what i want to say and mix my words up, it is not something to be sneered at.

As I know you do read my posts and are aware of this already, i find your post insulting.

Your post was rude, you were having a strop because your thread has not been made a sticky, and I have no idea what condition you have. You miss the fact that there are thousands of posts on MSE each day, the BG's do not read them all (and I certainly don't remember every post I read!).

    Have you PMed a BG?
    Gone ... or have I?

Sorry DMG I wasn't having a strop, that's just your assumption, again.

But thank you for being so helpful on this thread on way's to contact the staff, most i have tried.

if you had just said that in the first place, rather than being judgmental and a tad silly, you may find your posts are rude,

I am sure that if i had said some of the things you say i am doing, to you, you would be up in arms.

There is no need for half you comment, but if it make you feel better then i am sure it makes you feel all smug and warm inside.

  • Nobody has sent me a PM regarding this.

As dmg rightly says I do not read every thread and I have not read the one you are commenting on, and I am sure I speak on behalf of the other BGs.

    I haven't sent a pm yet, I haven't had time.

But thank you for responding to this.

Thank you for making the post sticky, i am sure this will help a lot of people and save a few threads on the same thing.

  • You are welcome, but you only needed to PM one of the BGs, we don't bite honestly :)
