Littlewoods charged me before i make my first order?

Hello everyone,
They seem to want £20 off me as i haven't got a credit rating.
I'm new to littlewoods and i've never borrowed, dont have credit cards and i'm not in debt.
But i do have bank accounts which i have been good with. I have been trying to order a washing machine on credit at 52 wks 0% apr.
I've paid the £20 like the woman on the phone has asked for. she phoned me 15 mins after i made my order.
So after paying today i have re ordered my washing machine this was at 5pm and havent heard anything.
The other order is still on my account but the status on that is credit rejected. will i need to cancel one of them?

I'm asking this because the lady who replied to my other thread on here thinks is strange that i have to pay the £20.
when i re ordered the form didnt seem to take the 10% first order discount. so i filled in a form for that through the faqs.

was i supposed to pay the £20 or not?
thanks all.

  • ok thanks anyway. I looked at my email this morning and i have my order confirmed and i can track my order, looks like its on it way. its seemed that they wanted to see the colour of my money before even prossesing my order. which i don't know if they can do that.
  • forgot to say that my order was £199 and now its £179./ i guess the money went towards that.
all i have to find out now is about the discount. and do i have to pay anything for a month now i have paid in advance?

I think you might have more luck with an answer if you explain what you actually need to know?

I dont understand what has happened or what your problem is?

by the looks of things, you want them to process your order then ship it then take payment??

If you never had any credit before then you act as risk cause of the low score.

i got a bit worried i wasn't able to order anything. Now its all ok.
I'm just wondering if they normally ask for payment when you order on credit which what they asked for is more like a months worth of payment than a weekly payment.
