Paypal - card already registered

Hi,
My debit card expired in June and I've only just got round to using Ebay/Paypal again since then.
I've bought a Buy it Now item, but when I go to pay for it, Paypal wants me to enter my debit card details again (because the old card has expired). Since my debit card has the same number (but different expiry dates - obviously), when I add the card to paypal I get:
"This credit card is already registered in your PayPal account"
But it won't let me use the card because it's expired. How do I get around this?
Thanks,
Jonny

Hi All,
Have you tried deleting the old card from your account first, then entering the new one. Usually the CVV number will also be different on the new card, as well as the dates.
Cheers

Thanks Steve - I assumed it had already removed the expired card automatically, which is why it wouldn't let me use the expired card!
It works now!
