Ok, for some reason, everytime i go to delete a folder it will pop up saying
Cannot delete *****: access is denied
make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use.
this happens on any folder i try and delete
When I click propeties on the folder it says its read only, so i change this and apply. then i click propeties again and it's saved it self as readonly again...
Any idea's please?

Reboot and try again.0

Three options...
1) as Chippy_Minton said, restert PC and try again
If that doesnt help, one of the following is guranteed to do the job:
2) Delete the file from SafeMode (Go into safe mode, then delete it): http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm#02
If that doesnt work or you dont want to do that,
3) Download and use "Unlocker" to unlock the file/folder and then delete it as normal (select file and click "delete"): http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
If none of the above work, you are lying and havent tried all the steps above!
He He He! only joking, report back!
