Skiing at Xmas

Hi can anyone give me advice about this.
A colleague at work has suggested we go away at xmas. I am divorced and horribly single as she is too. We aren't overly friendly but her children are grown up and the thought of spending another 'single' xmas at 34 with my parents is seriously making me consider it. She has skied before but I never have. She has found a place called Hotel Domiti in passeo tolledo which does a ski school for me but also half board for £394 plus tuition and hire of everything over xmas.
Does anyone know anything better or anyone tried a ski resort over xmas?

Many thanks

sounds like a good deal but do check out the ski conditions at that time of year, you should be able to find out about the snow history on line - how much is the ski tuition etc?
