Hi,
My daughter has just started Uni with a new laptop, but needs a printer to go with it.
As her room is so tiny, the printer needs to be as small as possible, just black and white needed as it's only for printing notes and documents.
Reliable, compact and reasonably priced cartridges if possible.
Does one exist ?
Thanks

A laser might be better if you want to avoid paying for cartridges every 2 minutes..

Alternatively, Canon do some small inkjets.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
I have a canon i250, used to be a which best buy (not now though) pretty cheap printer and compatable cartridges are real cheap from refresh cartridges (B&W and Colour though)
I250 is not made now, I dont know what the replacement is but they are avaiable used on ebay.Gas doc on the loose0 -
You may find a portable colour printer easier to find and it may prove more useful in the long term, have a look at the Canon Pixma IP900

I'd get her a cheap samsung laser, just shove it under the desk out of the way somewhere, the toner lasts for ages and they're higher quality than cheap inkjets for text.0
