CSA say they won't 'see' NRP & NRPP kids unless NRPP wage slips provided??

Wondering if anyone can help, please??
My husband is NRP who is CSA1 and has 2 kids with PWC (one in HE and one in secondary school). My husband was made redundant last year and after having a private agreement for 4 years the PWC decided to go to the CSA to get payment.
He is still not working but has decided to start his own business which at the moment is not providing any income at all but is expected to bring in a small amount monthly soon.
The CSA have now asked for 2 of my wage slips. After calling to discuss the reasons why, they asked if we had any kids together. I told them yes we had 2 (both at preschool age) but apparently this was not 'on the system'. They then realised that actually they had known but until I sent my wage slips they would not take our kids into account.
Is this right?? Yes, as there is no allowance given to the NRP when they calculate his exempt income (unless they are biologically his too, or adopted by him). The child allowances are given in the protected income which is calculated after the assessable income to determine if the NRP can afford to pay the full assessable income amount or not from the household income.I feel I am being blackmailed into having my 'details' on a system which really doesn't have much to do with me.
I am not a high earner by any stretch (work part time) and am worried I am going to be left with nothing to take care of my own kids even when he starts earning this minimal amount.
Is it correct that for the CSA to ask for my info the PWC must have asked them to do this??No, under CS1 it is standard procedure - but the PWC can request that your income is used in calculating the housing costs apportioned to the NRP - but you can do the same if the PWC does not receive working tax credits.
Sorry if it all sounds a bit disjointed but it is becoming a real worry to me and the more I read about the CSA, the less I trust what I am told.
Thanks in advance.
If your husband's new income isn't making a profit, then the liklihood is that he will get a nil assessment - his gross, pre-tax profits will be calculated then tax, national insurance will be deducted and then the normal allowances - doesn't sound like there will be anything from which to make the assessment with.0 -
This is the part of csa1 i struggle to get my head round.
So NRPP wage is used to see if they can contribute to housing cost if i understand it right?
What if NRPP earns £200 per week but has to pay out £150 per week childcare so it's possible to work? Do CSA take that childcare cost into account?
Thanks if you can clear this up for me.0
