Can I view sites that have been deleted from history list

I am a regular visitor and poster on MSE but using a different user name for a couple of posts today as they are quite personal.

So apologies for the anonimity but could you tell me how to see what internet sites have been looked at on our PC but deleted from the history list.

I only have fairly basic IT skills.

I don't have enough knowledge to use the previous software anyway. I just want to know what sites have been viewed on the PC so I can make an informed decision. My lack of IT skills should not stand in my way which is why I'm asking for help here

Not sure how to find the deleted history but if you search for Cookies, that should give a good idea of what sites have been visited. Unless Cookies have been disabled, most web sites place a Cookie on your computer. Some will have slightly odd names but very often it is quite obvious what the site is called.

Go to My Computer, click on search and then just search for Cookies. This will find the folders containing Cookies which you can then look in.
