Employers who take money from employees in return for a service are entering into a contract; one that is far more binding that the tenuous one alleged by private parking contractors and their potential victims.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

People need jobs.

I've been informed that on the day I received my fine, they were taking pictures of vehicles. Would this do me any harm if I keep ignoring them? Does it count as proof against me?0

Please it's not a "fine", it's an invoice. As for the picture, it will show the car but not the driver. Even if it did show who was driving, how are they going to identify that person? Unless the parking company has a data-base with images of everyone in the country, they are stuffed.
So keep ignoring them.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

A trisontana says, it makes no difference, it's a PPC bogus ticket so just ignore it!
Who 'informed' you about this and why? You really need to understand it's a scam and stop talking to people about that day as if it's anything important! And please stop calling the rubbishy fake ticket a fine. It carries no weight in law whatsoever, pics or no pics.
Have you not found the Watchdog youtube link yet, it's linked to our sticky threads? Anyway I have posted the link to it below for your enjoyment. The bogus ticket the legal expert made into a paper aeroplane had pretty pictures of a car as well, so what, it just cost the scammers more money:

Good advice was also given in the Guardian recently "It might have been better if your reader had simply ignored all correspondence'' they tell someone with a query like yours:

Please relax, please stop worrying about this, it's no more annoying than deleting a series of phishing emails. Once you know it's a scam it's quite amusing when the predicted letters arrive as shown in pics in the next link. I laughed as each matching letter arrived when I got my fake ticket nearly 2 years ago - and I have not been banged up in jail or had my cat kidnapped or had my credit rating fiddled with for the 'heinous crime' of overstaying on private land!:

Tell your friends and colleagues about this scam very clearly, tell them it's just like getting some phishing emails - they wouldn't be daft enough to pay those surely! Show those colleagues who still think you should have paid, the Watchdog link and the Guardian link - and show them all these replies from people who know what we are talking about!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok I'm not going to worry about this anymore, I just got a bit shakey yesterday as my two weeks to pay were up and I wondered if I had done the right thing. I can see now that I am definitely doing the right thing. Thank you everyone0
