Creating Email Templates?

Hi everyone, not a money saving project but a promotional thingy really with a view to making a bit of extra.

I wondered how I can do an email campaign but create the html emails myself. Have done it before but it was free software from my web host that they don't providce I've a good idea on layout which is the same as a pdf I have, so I want to get it as close as poss ( so access to the code maybe? ) but don't know where to find anything I can use easily, any ideas please?

Take a look at Aptana Studio 2. It's a bit like dreamweaver and should do for your needs. If you really know your code you could just use Notepad or Notepad++.

Thanks, was hoping to use notepad but used to building web pages not emails, I'm not entirely sure they can be laid out in the same way as web pages!
