Complimentary AXA MOT insurance

Hi all, I bought a car a couple of weeks ago (on credit, thru Santander) and today I've received an insurance pack from Global Insurance Management (underwritten by AXA Insurance) for complimentary MOT insurance, which appears to cover me in case my car fails its MOT (in March) for up to £350. Now I'm the last one to look a gift horse in the mouth but I don't know where this insurance came from - did it come as part of the credit plan does anyone know? I've checked my paperwork but can't see any ref to this complimentary insurance. My normal car insurance is Churchill. Thanks to anyone who can shed any light please!!
