    I guess I wanted to make people aware that having your fire serviced every year to make sure they have adaquate ventilation is so important, and to make sure if you have an extractor fan fitted, make sure that it does not pull the [STRIKE]carbon monoxide[/STRIKE]Carbon Dioxide and Water Vapour fumes back in to the room you are sitting in when the fire and extractor fan are on at the same time. :(

  • There are people that will pick apart anything on here.

    The main point of the op's original post is to warn that inadequate ventilation into a room with excessive air extraction and a fossil fuel appliance can result in a dangerous level of noxious fumes.

    If you are already aware of this then be grateful for your knowledge, if not be grateful to the op for pointing it out.
