Screen jumping around now!

I have asked in the past about disabling the touch plate on my Sony VA10 laptop and may have solved it but now another irritating thing is happening i.e. the page I happen to be looking at/using jumps about. I use a separate mouse
and scroll with it. When I see the info item or forum question I wish to read the movement of the pointer towards it causes the page to move up or down and even sideways.
Has anyone got an idea why this is happening or what I may have accidentally clicked in Control Panel.

No, it wasn't that. I found that a box I had clicked in the Mouse section of Control Panel i.e. "Turn on Click Lock" had retained the tick I had removed because I forgot to click OK
at the bottom.0
