Want to ditch British Gas but what about 'Homecare'

Gas and Electricity both with British Gas. And we also have the full Homecare package (Boiler, Heating, Electrics, Home Appliances)

As per Martin's advise went onto uSwitch and could switch to EDF Energy (Online S@ver 7) and save about £400

But if i switch - what will happen to my homecare agreement with BG? I am very happy with that and would want to leave that untouched.

Any advise anyone?

Thanks

  • Your homecare is effectively managed seperately, it will be completely unaffected.

Your cover is only affected if you're on Energy Extra as opposed to Homecare as that's added onto your gas account.

    Thanks for this.

I've been trying to look on their website if one is linked to the other but failed miserably

    Cheers
