Affliate Dating

Affliate Dating own Countryside Love. But its quite hard to find this out.

Three months ago I got a credit card statement which had a charge on it for Affliate dating. I had no idea who this was, or what it related to. I claimed the money back as I had not authorised the transaction.

The same thing happened the next month

And the next.

It turns out that Affliate Dating, in the form of Countryside Love, had decided that I should be charged for communicating on their dating website. The thing is, I haven't used the site. I did create a FREE profile last year but I haven't logged in or visited the site since I met my partner, and now fiancee, in March of this year.

As I am not using the site, and have not agreed to pay anything I can only assume someone is using my identity. Or they are charging me even though I'm NOT using the site.

I have just had a Final Demand from a debt collection agency for just over £54 which they say I owe Affliate Dating. As I can't even login to the site I cannot stop this debt mounting up. I have talked to the debt collection agency but they say none of this is there problem - I have seven days....

There is no phone for Countryside Love or Affliate Dating. I have emailed them but I am scared this is going to escalate and I can't stop it.

All help gratefully received.

I guess I must have filled something in, or they were stolen.

They never charged me until three months ago though. Which I don't get. If I wasn't using the site then why the sudden charge?

Are you sure you didn't sign up to a few months free trial after which it would revert to a subscription if you didn't cancel?
