Has the world gone mad?
My car insurance is due for renewal at the end of November, and for once I've started looking around in good time to see what the going rate is, especially with the reports of the price hikes this year.
I've only been on two sites so far. I normally get comprehensive cover so that's where I started. Wasn't too impressed with the quote so decided to check third party fire and theft as well as money is tight at the moment. The first site (Argos) came up with a quote for TPFT which was about £12 dearer than comprehensive, which seemed a bit strange but I thought maybe they were having a problem with their software. I then tried the Post office, and their quote for TPFT was £59 more expensive! What's going on?
