Hello,
can anyone recommend an (online?) savings account with a good interest rate from which to set up the required Standing Order to the Halifax Regular Saver (7%). I have got Online Savers with Egg, Ing and A&L and all of them do not allow to set up S/Os. Any ideas?
Thanks,
M

I've wondered this myself! Its a great idea, but hard to do in practice. A&L and lloyds can't do it, and you say Egg and ING are out too. Anyone?0

Where did you get that idea from lipidicman? My monthly contribution comes from my LLoyds tsb bank account. I also alter my standing order there on a monthly basis (depending on how much i think i can afford).lipidicman wrote:Its a great idea, but hard to do in practice. they are saying they cant set up a standing order from their savings
i think you would be hard pushed to find a saving account that does allow it - any mandate generally only appears on a current account
