Don't mind the cooking part lol) OH was supposed to work this weekend, but doesn't need to now, so we had to replan sat and sunday, and a friend for dinner tomorrow night.

    So:

Sa 6throasted squash salad with spatchcocked poussin (nigella kitchen inspired)
Su 7th poss roast lamb if we have friends round, otherwise greek roasted lamb and potatoes from nigella kitchen, with carrots involved somewhere
Mo 8th Roast fish fillets with roasted potatoes and peas(RCE)
Tu 9th Pork escalopes with mustard sauce, saut! gnocchi and greens
We 10th Spanish chicken with chorizo and potatoes, peppers and salad. (nigella kitchen)

Sa 13th toad in the hole and onion gravy, sprouts

Am hoping we will stick to this, and use up some of our supplies before we go on holiday, but am sure we will manage to slip somewhere!

    What are you having?

I made the spinach and feta filo pastry pie... it's delicious! Advice though, cook it a bit longer on the bottom than you think... and make sure the thing you cook it on the hob in, can go in the oven. :)

Pen-Pin - hope you feel better soon.

Boodle - can I ask how you make oat bread, please? I've really enjoyed oaty bread when I've bought it and would love to be able to make my own.

I'm still storecupboard challenging and am starting to get to some more unusual combinations now in order to use stuff up:

Friday - pork* and leeks in cheese sauce with crusty bread
    Saturday - aubergine parmigiana
Sunday - arancini with spicy tomato sauce (risotto balls dipped in breadcrumbs and fried - I don't know what flavour risotto, though, as once again I didn't label it :o)
Monday - mince beef and vegetable pie
Tuesday - plaice fillet, curly chips and mushy peas
Wednesday - Spanish sausage casserole with roast squash wedges and garlic bread
Thursday - cheesy leek and spinach pasta

    Have a nice week, all.

    * well, I think it's pork, but it might be chicken. I really must start labelling things when I put them in the freezer. :o
Back after a very long break!
