    Sat: Toad in the hole and veg
    Sun: Slow cooker pulled pork w/ chips and coleslaw

    Digging into the freezer and store cupboard for this super cheap month.
    Dinners
    • HMFrozen beef spag bol
    • HMF veg shepherd's pie
    • spicy kidney bean rice
    • jackets w/ratatouille
    • lentil & bacon mash
    Lunches: soup!
    Breakfasts: HMF oat pancakes, porridge w/nutella, branflakes & banana w/yog

    Hi everyone, hope you all have a good week :). Next week I'm going to have:

    Monday - L: LO pasta and sauce. D: sausage, mash & beans.

    Tuesday - L: sandwich. D: dahl & rice.

    Wednesday - L: LO dahl & rice. D: breaded fish, mash & beans.

    Thursday - L: sandwich. D: cheesy broccoli (possibly with peas) pasta bake.

    Friday - L: LO pasta bake. D: bean chilli & garlic bread.

    Saturday - L: boiled eggs & soldiers. D: pizza, chips & coleslaw or potato salad.

    Sunday - L: soup & bread, pancakes after. D: tattie stew & bread.
  • Greetings all!

    Next Friday we are going away for 3 weeks (in which there will be no meal planning as we'll probably be eating Mo Mo in Himalayan tea houses every single night!) so we need to eat up whats here and not spend much!

    Tonight - Leek and pearl barley soup with oniony bread (both L/O)
    Friday - maybe out for bonfire night, if not pasta pesto with any sad veg from the fridge
    Saturday - veggie fritatta (spinach, onion, sweet potato, regular potato and and toms) with peas or other veg from freezer
    Sunday - jacket potatoes or rice with hm chili from freezer
    Monday - Not sure as out at a committee meeting. Maybe veggie burgers with veg from freezer once home
    Tuesday - curried lentil soup with veg - probably lots of carrots, as thats whats in the fridge!
    Wednesday and Thursday - Anything not eaten before!
    Friday - plane food :) YAY

    Lunches are leftovers, of which we will have many!

    i really need to take this back up again if i may x wont go mega into details but am now getting less than a few months ago, with winter and everything else i need to cut back on the extras treats n takeaways where i have fallen off the wagon :(

    Friday meatballs and pasta
    saturday breaded chicken mash peas and sweetcorn
    sunday roast chicken, roast potato's yorkies stuffing peas sweetcorn
    monday chicken veg and rice
    tuesday sausages mash and beans
    wednesday chicken casserole

    breakfasts my little ones have cereal and sometimes toast, i don't eat breakfast and snack on fruit or similar for lunch as im not often in anymore, im trying to only have to buy milk, bread and some fruit for the coming week (£20 budget for 4 of us) and using some of what we have in over the next few weeks

  • Right, I really need to get my head round this as I have a lot less money to play with after my separation:(. This is what I'm planning to have this week:

    Friday: Kale & potato mash with smoked sausage
    Saturday: out
    Sunday: Beef stew with carrots and potatoes
    Monday: Carrot & potato cakes (from Sunday's leftovers) with sausages
    Tuesday: Baked potato, baked beans & cheese
    Wednesday: Beefburger, potato waffles, peas
    Thursday: Curry (from freezer), rice, lentils
    Friday: Leek & mince casserole (from freezer) with mashed potatoes

    Lunches are soups, sandwiches or leftovers and breakfasts are cereal or toast.

    Hello old stylers, this is my first post here :beer:

    Our meal plan for this week is as follows:

    Sat L - @ my mums
    Sat D - home made pizza, (ham, chicken, pepperoni, onion & red pepper) salad and garlic bread

    Sun L - bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, beans & toast
    Sun D - Chicken roast (using breasts from the freezer as I'm over run with them at the moment) Aunt bessies sage yorkshires that OH bought (again to get them out of the freezer!) mash and veg

    Mon L - pack lunch, sandwiches
    Mon D- Jacket pots with cheese & beans

    Tue L - pack lunch, sandwiches
    Tue D - Chilli & rice, with baked beans as I HATE kidney beans :rotfl:

    Wed L - pack lunch, sandwiches
    Wed D - Toad in the hole, mash, veg

    Thur L - pack lunch, sandwiches
    Thur L - Chicken, oven chips & salad

    Fri L - pack lunch, sandwiches
    Fri D - Spag bol, HM ready in the freezer
  • Mind if i join in as its just pot luck at the moment with whatever i fancy, which isnt helping the bank balance :) also have done a huge costco run earlier this month so the food budget has pretty much gone!

    aiming not to buy any food this week so its all from the freezer/cupboards

    Friday - Breaded fish from freezer & pasta
    Saturday - tuna pasta bake with brocolli from freezer
    Sunday - tuna pasta same as saturday
    Monday - toad in the hole
    Tuesday - sweet and sour chicken/turkey with noodles
    Wednesday - pasta & meatballs
    Thursday - turkey mince lasagne

    Just one day last week when we didnt have what was planned and that was the cheese & potato pie.

    this week we shall have -

    FRI -Sausage, egg and chips.
    SAT- Bacon, cheese, tomatoes and oatcakes
    SUN- Duck with pancakes etc, plus roast potatoes. (Duck found in freezer) CHANGED TO - Gammon & veg as had visitor who didnt like Duck!
    MON -Shepards pie and veg
    TUE -Something on toast
    WED- Fish
    THUR -Stuffed lamb hearts. (Not had for years and hope still like them) :o
    (May or may not be in this order)
