My bathroom wall has stretchmarks?

Yes, it looks like proper stretchmarks you'd get on your body! :rotfl:
Could it be the paint? It's only on the one wall which is the wall against the bath/shower.
We only moved here in March and just gave the bathroom a damn good clean (it had not long been painted anyway) but it's getting worse now so I'm hoping when we paint it again in a couple of weeks with proper bathroom paint, the stretchmarks will disappear and won't come back again?
I've always had tiles in a bathroom so this is a new one on me!

Is the paint bubbling away from the wall ?0

Really hard to say without seeing with my own eyes - could just be wrong paint in which case it would need stripping back cleaning and sanding before correct paint can be applied or it could be a form of mould caused by condensation again correct paint would help but you cant just paint over the problem or it will ruin your new paint eventually.0

My husband seems to think it could be the wrong paint on the walls (maybe just a cheap emulsion?) and that's why it's gone like it has.
I'll try and get a picture up when either the kids or OH get home.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I'd photgraph it carefully (outside too if possible) and post it for folks to look at. If you touch it in any way the landlord/agency might refuse to get in involved so dont anything more than photgraph it
