Air bubbles in wallpaint after 2 months of moving in

I've just been living at this new place for two months, and started to notice air bubbles forming under the wall paint and this morning its starting to peel. I've paid a huge amount of deposit and this is starting to freak me out. Does anyone know the cause of this ?

If it was freshly decorated when you moved in I would suspect there had been a problem and its recurring but then I'm a suspcious so-and-so

If its on an outside wall is there anything visible on the outside which could be related ?0 -
It could be a minor issue with bad preparation before the wall was painted - if so all the old paint in affected areas will need scraping off and the wall cleaned and sanded before applying fresh paint. Difficult to diagnose without seeing it properly.0
